Officially: Abolish Super PACs Act
This bill would end unlimited donations to Super PACs by applying the same federal contribution caps that already apply to other political committees. It defines which groups (and which separate accounts inside groups) count as “independent expenditure committees” and sets a start date in the first full calendar year after enactment.
