CBP comments close July 24 on ending duty-free treatment for low-value mail imports

Customs and Border Protection's interim final rule would indefinitely suspend the de minimis exemption for imports of $800 or less arriving through international mail and create a new postal entry process, with comments due the same day most of the rule takes effect.
